Kee Walk^® provides a safe, anti-slip, level walkway for workers who need to access a roof in the course of their work. Its intelligent design protects the roof surface from unnecessary damage and integrates easily with either guardrails or lifeline systems.

Suitable for All Roofs

Kee Walk^® is designed for modern roof types including trapezoidal profile composite or built up and standing seam metal roofs. It can be used on flat, barrel, or sloping roofs, with steps and a traverse option so you can create access to virtually any roof configuration from 0 to 35 degrees.

Protects You and the Roof

Kee Walk^® has been specially developed to give you total flexibility in creating safe access to all areas of a roof. Not only does it protect those accessing the roof, but it also protects the roof sheet itself. It does this thanks to its clearly defined access path eliminating foot traffic on the roof sheet.

Easy to Install

Modules are supplied as 1.5m and 3m pre-assembled sections to suit the needs of different roofs. The glass-reinforced nylon or aluminum treads are attached to aluminum support beams that are fixed to the roof surface. There are no unique parts needed.

The nylon treads are fire rated to Class HB of UL94 and will not present a fire risk.

Made from tubular fittings and standard modules so it can be installed on-site without any welding.

Long Lasting

Available in aluminium or galvanized steel for long-lasting protection, corrosion resistance and strength.

Highest standards for rooftop safety

Kee Walk exceeds relevant OSHA standards together with EN516:2006, the European standard for the test requirements of roof access walkways. This includes measuring the deflection and residual deformation under specified loads. Kee Walk Rooftop Walkways have surpassed all testing allowing the system to be CE marked under the European Construction Products Regulation No. 305/2011.

- What is the steepest slope I can install Kee Walk on?
  
  Kee Walk is designed to be installed on metal roofs up to 35 degree slope.
- Can I get railings on only one side of the walkway?
  
  Kee Walk can be designed with railing on 1 or both sides of the railing.
- Can Kee Walk be installed on rubber membrane roofs?
  
  Kee Walk can be combined with our non-penetrating Kee Guard weights for flat rubber roofs. Solutions for sloped or barrel membrane roofs are possible but require our design team to be involved and roof penetrations.
- Can the walkway traverse up and across the slope of the roof?
  
  Yes, Kee Walk is designed in both steps (for traveling up the slope) and platforms (for walking across the slope).
- How does Kee Walk ship?
  
  The platform ship in built 1.5m or 3m long sections banded to pallets.

Kee Walk^® Case Studies

Rooftop Walkway and Step Overs for City Centre Muscat

Kee Safety designed, supplied and supervised the installation of approximately 350 m of Kee Walk with 7 bespoke step overs fixed to a Rigidal Ziplok roof of the Muscat City Centre in Oman.

Walkway Provides Safe Access on Undulating Airport Terminal Roof

During the second half of 2011, Kee Safety supplied its Kee Walk^® roof safety equipment to the biggest airport terminal in Spain, offering full protection for those accessing and working on the uniquely designed sloping roof.

Work Platforms Installed for Community College

Serving nearly 5,000 students, Cerro Coso Community College is a public community college in the Eastern Sierra / Upper Mojave Desert region of Southern California, USA. The college was concerned that contractors were using a series of plywood ramps and staging to access rooftop HVAC equipment. Seven large platforms, all with a different configurations were approved for installation. Our RSM, Juan Lopez, visited site again alongside our Technical Manager, Paul Bowes, and our partner, Pacific Rim Fall Protection, to evaluate and design each platform. Due to time constraints and the remote location, each platform would have to be built on site.
